YOUR FIRST VISIT

We will begin your initial visit by taking your vital signs and reviewing the information in your medical history. One of our physicians will meet with you to review the personal history form and discuss your current problem. The physician will then perform a general physical examination of your orthopaedic problem.

At the completion of your visit, the physician will discuss the possible problem or diagnosis with you and will recommend additional tests and outline a treatment program. Additional tests may include analysis of culture samples, X-rays, MRI's, CT, or other procedures. Any additional tests will be scheduled when you check out. The nurses will review information regarding the additional tests or procedures and will provide preparation instructions for the tests.

Educational material and dietary information are provided to reinforce your discussion with the physician and clinical staff and to help in your treatment.
